Ashton was by herself as Caroline was busy with something. And Damon was off searching his brother. So that meant that she had some time to herself. That meant that she didn't have e to worry about her master being around. As she still wasn't used to the idea of being someone else pet. It wasn't her fault that Damon caught her in her tiger form. But was shocked when he learned that she was a shifter. Now Ashton was spending her days in Mystic Falls. As she was supposed to be a normal teenager. Ashton wasn't sure what to think about this. She was still used to being a lone tiger. Being by herself, but she was going to have to get used to the idea. As she knows had a master.


This was something that she wasn't ready for. She knew that she hated Damon for taking her freedom. Yeah, she knew that she wasn't in a cage. But she had the wilderness of India. Now she was in Mystic Falls but she knew that it would be hard to explain a Bengal tiger. She was sure that she would be in a zoo. Because this was going to be something harder to explain. But that was up to Damon since she was his pet. Something that he would have to get her head around.


At least Damon was feeing her good. Even though some rare steaks would be nice. She couldn't help if she was a meat eater. And it was because of the tiger in her. There were times when the tiger would fight for control. And she would let it win as it was who she was. She was born a shift and accepted it. Ashton then wondered if Damon would even come home. Not like she really cared. But it he was her master, it would be nice

Damon came home months after he had planned to since Klaus had ended up taking him prisoner for a couple months. He was frustrated and furious at his brother for not wanting to come thoughost e kind of understood that now since they had his ring. Elena had stopped by a store and well picked up a juicy rare steak to give to Ashton as a treat.

Stefan had always disagreed about him taking a shifter as a pet though he did not care it was unique and well was female so he could play with it in several ways. He walked in the manor slamming the door rather loudly behind him went to put the steak in the fridge before grabbing a glass of whiskey.

Ashton could tell that someone just walked in. And she could smell that there was some good food. Thanks to the tiger in her. Now she was going to find who it was. Maybe it was Caroline with more treats. Then they could hang out. She really didn't think that it would be Damon. Since it had been months since he had been home. But she did like the idea of laying around without him here. Yeah, Caroline made her leave and actually meet someone. Which she really liked Bonnie. And she got a steak out of it.

That is when she started to make her way to the fridge. That is when she couldn't believe what she had seen. Damon was finally home after being away for months. “ Well look who finally is back. Shall I got fetch the newspaper?” She couldn't help that here that her dog puns were coming out. But it was her way of dealing. Being sarcasm was a way of dealing with being a pet.

“Maybe I should wear a collar. So that way if I get lost, then they know to contact you.” Maybe she would have a little fun. Since it wasn't going to hurt anybody.
