Grayson in many cases can be described as the stereotypical rich boy who likes to get what he wants. And often tends to live up to his name of being a player. Which mostly stems from him having been insecure most of his life, due to him having been forced to live up to a name that he had no interest being the next alpha. Due to his father wanting to keep the dominance in his family. Despite him being very much arrogant, he is very intelligent and knows his way around life but just tends to display the not so smart role.

He tends to care deeply about his friends and families, due to him caring about his siblings more than anything. But is more known as being someone who is not smart. Grayson is quite athletic and has been because most of his life involved training to be a werewolf, and having been forced to trigger his gene at a young age. Which was when his father forced him to kill someone knowing that would bring out his wolf powers.

Leaving Grayson to resent his father, and tends to be extremely bitter to being a wolf.

General History:
Grayson was born as the second child and son to Keynan and Bridget Cavanaugh, and had been immediately shadowed by his older brother. Due to his father hell-bent on keeping werewolf in their family, so he wanted his family to be the alphas. Meaning from a young age he taught his children the ways of the werewolves, by getting out all of the lores. And when the boys were old enough he had them kill someone so they would trigger their powers, but left his sister to choose her fate.

Leaving Grayson throughout his life to be trained to be like his father, and hated his father for what he did. But for the most part aside from the werewolf genes. His life was good and was often doted on by his mother, meanwhile his older brother was doted on by their father. As years went on Grayson had managed to make a life for himself outside of his father's fantasy world of them being a super werewolf family. When he started school he had played football and like his brother he was very athletic, but had been the star football player of the family.

Which had gotten his father's attention, when he started high school, but it made him mad that Grayson often put his time into sports then keeping the family legacy alive. Although once he hit his sophomore year Grayson had grown to become a party boy who had did anything he could to get away from the clutches of his family. And often was seen at parties or sleeping with any girl he could.

When he reached his juinor year of High school, he had became the quarterback for the Mystic Falls Football team, which made his mother proud. And had almost led her to leave their father, but his father is slowly attempting to be a better father, but in recent weeks Grayson has began to enjoy his powers much more.

Family Background:
The Cavanaugh family comes from a long of werewolves, dating back to the days of the most ancient wolves. And has been known to have been in the Mystic Falls area since the beginning of time, but some members had managed to move to other parts of the United States. They are a family based off keeping their blood pure and teaching their children from a young age to be triggered werewolf, even though numerous have managed to remain untriggered.

For years they have been in fights to be alphas, and has succeeded only a couple of times. But in recent years they had became an dominant family. And have been trying anything in their power to make sure, by having their first born sons take over the spot through a fight when their time has come to an end. The Cavanaugh's are a not very liked family due to their very not so nice history.

Even though some of the members try their best to clear their name, and some could really care if they were some important family.
